NCAD

September 2013 - Ongoing

I moved from my studio in Temple Bar to a basement in the
National College of Art and Design and began to design and build a new
canteen for the college - a place that would provide NCAD with a
much needed point of hospitality; restorative nutritious food; and a room
conducive to the generation of new thoughts and the sharing of ideas.

Tables are made from decommissioned scaffolding planks and there is a
lighting installation throughout the rooms comprised of agricultural feed
bottles and other worthy transluscent vessels.

I am now based in here everyday, working with a chef in a fascinating
studio/business hybrid practice and feel like this is the most sincere
expression of my art practice to date.
